The Witch’s Curse by Jordan Quinn (#4 in The Kingdom of Wrenly series)

Synopsis

“It has been raining nonstop for days on end. Now the fields are in danger of flooding, which will ruin all the crops. Someone has cursed the Kingdom of Wrenly! Can Lucas and Clara figure out who is behind the evil spell and stop the villain before it’s too late?”

My Thoughts

The Witch's Curse is a delightful read which sees our two heroines out to solve another mystery to save their kingdom. While not as exciting as the previous installment, The Witch's Curse's strength is its well-written style and meaningful dialogue. The two children, notably Lucas, learn important lessons about the significance of difficult choices and what it means to be fair and wise in judgment.

Memorable Quotes

“Be careful about blaming someone for something he/she may not have done,” added the queen. “You must have all the facts first.”

“Perhaps it’s time to teach that miserable witch a lesson,” said Grom.
